  • The price varies based on the wood type, design complexity, and size. A basic staircase might start around $1,500-$3,000, while premium hardwood staircases or custom designs can cost upwards of $3,000–$15,000.

  • No. Timeless Staircases specialises exclusively in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom timber staircases and internal timber balustrades.

    We do not supply or install glass balustrades, glass-only projects, steel fabrication, or outdoor balustrades. By focusing solely on timber, we're able to deliver the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project.

    If your project includes glass balustrades, we're happy to work alongside your chosen glass supplier to ensure everything integrates seamlessly with your new staircase.

  • Installation typically takes between 2 to 5 days, depending on the design complexity and whether the staircase is pre-fabricated or custom-built.

  • Yes, we offer custom designs tailored to your specific style and space requirements. Our expert team will work with you to create the perfect staircase for your home or business.

  • Our process is designed to be simple, transparent, and stress-free from start to finish.

    **1. Enquiry**
    Contact us by phone, email, or through our website with your plans, measurements, or project details.

    **2. Quotation**
    Our team will review your project and prepare a detailed, obligation-free quotation. If required, we can also arrange a site measure or consultation to ensure everything is accurate before manufacturing.

    **3. Accepting Your Quote**
    Once you're happy to proceed, we'll issue a **50% deposit invoice**. Your project is booked into our manufacturing schedule once the deposit has been received.

    **4. Manufacture**
    Your staircase or balustrade is custom manufactured in our Melbourne workshop using premium materials and precision craftsmanship.

    **5. Installation Booking**
    Once your project is ready, we'll work with you or your builder to schedule a suitable installation date. We ask for approximately **two weeks' notice** where possible so we can coordinate our installation schedule.

    **6. Progress Payment**
    A **30% progress claim invoice** is issued prior to installation and is payable **at least three days before** your scheduled installation date.

    **7. Installation**
    Our experienced installation team will install your staircase or balustrade and ensure everything is completed to our high standards. If other trades are involved, such as flooring, plastering, painting, or glass installation, we'll coordinate with you to complete any remaining stages at the appropriate time.

    **8. Final Completion**
    Once all works are complete, we'll carry out any final finishing touches and issue the remaining **20% balance invoice**.

    Throughout the entire process, our team will keep you informed and is always available to answer any questions, ensuring your project runs as smoothly as possible.

  • No. Timeless Staircases specialises exclusively in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom timber staircases and internal timber balustrades.

    We do not manufacture or fabricate steel staircases or structural steel components.

    If your project has been designed with a steel staircase, we may be able to offer a timber alternative, depending on the design. In many cases, we can recommend timber solutions that achieve a similar aesthetic while showcasing the natural beauty and warmth of timber.
